„A party of 4 of us have just returned from an amazing week staying at Vista Calero. The villa is stunning with a beautiful view over the marina at Puerto Calero. A short stroll will take you to the marina with an array of amazing restaurants, that was all we needed for a week of rest and relaxation. Our stay was seamlessly managed by Carla and her team at Buena Villa, David was fantastic and he checked on us for anything we needed throughout our stay, which was incredibly reassuring as we had his contact number if we had any issues. The Villa was spotlessly clean and kept that way with a midweek clean, they take the Covid situation extremely seriously which was evident during our stay. This villa and the way it was managed exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely return without hesitation.“

Vista Calero was a joy to stay in

„Vista Calero was a joy to stay in. The villa is immaculate , thoughtfully laid out and beautifully furnished. We really enjoyed our morning swim in the large, heated pool , followed by breakfast on the spacious, curved terrace looking across the marina and the ocean ( with a few volcanoes in the background). The grounds of the villa , and the pool are attractively landscaped , with native cacti, strelitzia etc, providing several alternative areas in which to sit or sunbathe. The (warm ) shower just outside the pool and the sauna in the large games room are pleasant before or after swimming. The villa feels spacious and private – the galley-style kitchen , though not huge, is perfectly adequate for holiday purposes, and the many restaurants and welcoming bars of Puerto Calero are only 2 minutes’ walk away. This is a great base for exploring Lanzarote, particularly the amazing projects and architecture of Cesar Manrique, and the many lovely towns and fishing villages of the island. El Pisquito in Arrieta is probably our favourite, for friendly service and great fish on the quayside. We also liked walking along the coast to the harbourside restaurants of Playa Quemada and ( in the other direction) of Puerto Carmen.
The beds are comfortable, with lots of storage space. We are a couple, so rented only one of the 2 villas which comprise Vista Calero ( there was an adjoining, identical mirror- image villa next to ours ; renting both villas would be ideal for 2 families or 2 groups of friends).We were especially impressed by the team at Buenavilla – Manuel, Alvaro and David were extremely quick to respond to any of our needs , and very helpful in every way, including suggestions of great spots or things to do in the area. We would love to return to Vista Calero for our next Lanzarote holiday.“
